Lena and Eli at play
Today for our favourite love is a place we are so happy to welcome designer and illustrator Lena Corwin and her eldest son, Eli (6). Lena and Eli have recorded, for babaà, a day in their lives in San Francisco.
We’re so grateful for this view of shared living from both mama and son’s perspective…please enjoy.

My boys (Eli and Abe, 2) had no school this day. Eli discovered chess recently and is very absorbed in it. My plans to go to a museum changed when I remembered it was Monday – thus museum closed.
We stopped at our favourite neighbourhood cafe Andytown. Then to a playground (unchanged since my own childhood). Back home in the afternoon, and for the rest of the day, since it started to rain. It was a grey day but mild… the Spring Equinox.
