cardigan woman no18 mimosa blossom

Thick rib cotton cardigan.

Cool and comfy with a chunky structure and dropped shoulders, Cardigan Woman No.18 is crafted from our favorite Spanish yarn. This cotton is so special: robust yet soft, and full of personality. It comes from our local producers in Andalucia, South Spain.

With a nice loose texture, its weight allows the knit to hang just so, while the ribbed hem helps retain its shape.

Garment dyed locally with the latest technology in the most sustainable way: reducing water usage, no toxic waste and GOTS certified colouring.

Finished with buttons made out of recycled cotton fibre, another step in our commitment to our planet.

A timeless knit to be enjoyed forever

We’ve had a busy few days installing our new floors (YAY!) — I can’t wait to start sharing more home decor... something I’ll be doing more of in 2020 🤗 For now, here’s a snap from a few months ago - an outfit combination that I wore many times!

Definitely didn’t knock over that water bottle with a precariously half-tightened lid immediately after taking this. .

Today I’m grateful for living so near the sea.
I’m not a big beach person, at least according to my husband. I prefer my beach experience rocky, grey, and moody, but we live 4 miles from sun and sand in one of its most iconic forms.
However, this is the first fall I’ve spent living this close to the beach, and the overcast mornings, fresh breezes, and crisp evenings have me feeling very fall and very grateful. We sat on the porch on Friday evening watching a lightening storm over the Pacific, and I realized I likely have years ahead of me to enjoy my south facing home. I’ve used the phrase California hygge to describe my design style, I think it applies to my personal style, and it might just work for my whole approach to each day: slow paced, focused on joy and community, generally cozy, getting outside as much as possible, creating things all the time. I’m enjoying all the cozy seaside feelings so much!
