Happy me - auch schon wieder ein paar Tage her...die letzten lief hier nämlich irgendwie wieder alles ziemlich blöd und nach lachen war mir so gar nicht zumute. Heute dann ging’s wieder etwas besser und es gab einige kleine Glücksmomente mit meinen Jungs, die meine trübe Stimmung erhellt haben. Unabhängig von den neuen Beschlüssen, die heute getroffen wurden, denn auch die lassen ja nun wirklich hoffen, dass es so langsam wieder bergauf geht und etwas Normalität in unser aller Leben zurück kehren kann. Was sagt ihr zu den neuesten Lockerungen? Seid ihr damit zufrieden? .

It’s been so grey here in Minnesota lately, I promise I’ve been wearing clothes, I just haven’t taken pictures of them 😉 ...another styling of my new and quickly beloved hinterland dress with mods. I am enjoying my first pair of dressy boots with these beautiful secondhand ones via cladinclerestories by Dieppa Restreppo. I felt very cozy and comfortable today but also pulled together and still unique. The babaa color I’ve been waiting so long for! 🙌👏🙌👏 Irish moss is so me. I’ve tried my fair share of Babaa colors, some super bright and saturated, some super muted and neutral, and Irish moss is the perfect compromise. I really wish it was also offered in wool because I would be all over an olive wool cardigan! Who else is drooling big time over the new Babaa arrivals? 🤤

A note above these jeans: I sadly ended up selling them this week. I love the look and fit of them, with the big exception of the front pockets. I never took good photos of the pockets because they looked so meh on me. With their crescent moon shape, they dipped so low and puckered out, and they just did funny things at the hip (as sort of seen here), puckering and pulling the fabric in a not-ideal way. I’m really sad they didn’t work out ultimately because I love the lighter wash, the thicker denim, and the true wide leg shape, but the front pockets were just an epic fail for a curvy body IMO. They look great on the thin model though? You win some, you lose some. Hopefully Everlane does more styles like this in the future but sans slash pockets. 🤷♀️
