Christina Rosenvinge is a woman we LOVE. This June, her very good friend Pablo Zamora photographed her with her sons at home in Madrid. Christina is a lovely neighbour committed to her city, to her children and to her art. An honest poet and weaver of all good things. We thank her and her sons Willem and Kay for being part of our familia series.

NANA DE AGOSTO
¡Ay, mi pequeño ratón!
¿De quién es esta mano?
¿De quién es esta voz
que suena detrás de mí?
Aunque te escondes,
te oigo reír.
Las horas se pasan
jugando los tres,
si ellos no escuchan
lo digo en inglés:
I love you.
Ay, mi trocito de pan,
bolita de queso,
preciosidad,
te llevo dentro de mí
y aunque estés lejos
te puedo sentir.
The hours go faster
´cause we like to play,
if nobody listens
in Spanish I’ll say:
te quiero.
Ay, mis rayitos de sol,
entre la arena brillan los dos.
Las olas vienen y van,
y este castillo resistirá.
