babaà presents “in this room,” a series about the people who inspire us with their beautiful ways, in the rooms and spaces that keep them honest and inspired.
For our first in the series, we visit our friend, Cameron Mesirow, an artist and musician who performs under the moniker Glasser, in her space in the east village neighborhood of new york. We are forever inspired by her imagination, talent and depth.

In this room…I read and write and spend a lot of creative time listening to music. It’s also where I sing out and follow my voice where it wants to go, sometimes in the same direction over and over, like a worn path, and sometimes off a cliff into oblivion.
