Forthethirdinour series we visit Shereen Mohammad,theco-founder ofthemade-to-order line Marché, who we first met while visiting Desert VintageinNew York. We were immediately struck by Shereen’s elegance and warmth. For “inthisroom” we went to her homeinBrooklyn to seetheplace where she works, collects herself, and hosts long dinners with friends.
In this room, I’ve learned the power of feeling whole and found love when I found myself. Being in love is what gets me out of bed in the morning – not only with someone, but with everything around me and doing what I love to do most. I’m from New York City, and spent my adulthood creating a home in Bedstuy – it is the very essence of who I am. I’m constantly moving, learning, evolving and stimulated by people and things around me. The possibilities in my own home are endless and it’s the space to dream and be vast.
