We met Emma´s husband in LA at Echo Park Craft Fair last year. We love meeting you at fairs and events and are missing it right now.
YES, look what happened, he bought babaà for his children right there, then for his wife and himself and somehow via another friend I found we were tagged in one of their photos and discovered Emma´s work that way.
We love Emma´s photography and how she portrays motherhood AND womanhood. We are especially drawn to her self portraits as they inspire us with so much confidence and self knowledge and freedom. These images as part of or Familia Series manage to mix it all up in the most beautiful way: motherhood, childhood, womanhood, freedom, self confidence… and the generosity that it is to put it out there and share it with us all
